INI Power Systems is a provider of Hybrid Energy Solutions to Military and Industrial markets. With unique technology that optimizes the hybridization of energy harvesting, generation and storage technologies, INI provides versatile and on-board nano-grid solutions with micro-grid compatibility. This technology seamlessly optimizes system efficiency and minimizes the carbon footprint of our customers uninterruptable energy needs. INI is currently working to integrate its technology with several smart grid systems to further increase value, utility and flexibility to the end user. Harvested energy from such sources as solar, wind, and grid foraging can be hybridized with a range of storage battery options inside or outside INI systems, with fuel cell generators filling in the intermittent energy gaps as required. This highly efficient, flexible and fault tolerant architecture is further enhanced by attachment and inherent compatibility with external smart micro-grids for military or disaster recovery scenarios.
INI Power Systems was founded in 2004 to develop advanced direct liquid fuel cell technology and currently supplies the most efficient and flexible fuel cell generation system in the sub 1kW range. In 2007 INI expanded its horizon to the full solution view of renewable and smart energy systems. All INI technology is fully software controlled and user configurable so allowing easy migration to new applications or unique use scenarios. Compatibility with industry and military standards in storage and grid technology allow INI systems to work in tandem with other suppliers to achieve the optimum solution for the customer.
