The power demand for consumer electronic devices is growing at 5X the annual rate of improvements in lithium ion battery technology, creating an ever widening power gap. Beyond power limitations, industrial, and safety and security markets are forced to rely on dirty, loud and largely immobile lead acid batteries and generators. In aggregate, this more than $20B market demands portable power sources that keep pace with device power requirements and meet environmentally friendly operating conditions increasingly suspect in existing power solutions – exemplified by battery recalls and regulatory pressures on lead acid batteries and generators. INI’s Laminar Flow approach is an ideal platform for integration into existing consumer electronics, and for stand alone products providing clean, lightweight and long-lasting power.
